Dubai is one of the seven emirates of United Arab Emirates which main revenues are coming from tourism, real estate, trade, and financial services. Dubai is an open city and the most populous city in the UAE. You can find all kinds of nationality in Dubai, mostly are Americans, Canadians, British, Australians, Russians, Indians, Filipinos, and Chinese. For those people who are planning to visit Dubai, I have listed below the places that you should go in order to fill your vacation with precious moments.

DESERT SAFARI – it is a dune bashing or desert driving by a 4-wheel drive. You could not help but scream on the top of your lungs as the car bashing up and down the tallest dunes. The thrill, screams, laughter, and excitement were really unforgettable that you could still feel it the next day. Do not forget your camera to take the picture of the setting sun which is entirely different from the usual setting sun that we could see in the beach. At the end of the day, there will be a sumptuous buffet in the nearby camp where you can have a henna tattoo on your hand done by a lady. You can also take your picture wearing the custom dress of the Arabic as it is made available in the camp. Camels are also available for those who stand in queue who want to experience the desert ride (two people can ride on one camel). After eating dinner, a lovely belly dancer will entertain the rest of your night.

JUMEIRAH BEACH – Dubai has a wide beautiful beachfront. You can enjoy snorkeling, scuba diving, jet skiing and fishing.

SKI DUBAI – Anytime in Dubai regardless of season, you can experience the joy of skiing. Dubai has a ski resort inside the Mall of Emirates (one of the biggest mall in Dubai) with the longest run of 400 meters and with a fall of 60 meters. There are designed slopes for beginners and experts. Aside from skiing, you can also relax in the 3,000 sq. meter interactive snow park making it the biggest indoor snow park in the world. Ski equipment and clothing are available for rent.

WILD WADI THEME PARK – It is one of the wildest water parks in the world covering 12 acres of pure fun with 23-adrenalin-pumping rides. It has wave pool, adventure river with slides, and a small aqua park for kids.

WONDERLAND THEME PARK DUBAI – This park is a big indoor air-conditioned centre with more than 100 rides, arcade games, video games, and a lot more. Some people say that destiny is a choice; it is what you decide; and it is what you make. However, some people argued that destiny is beyond your control; it eventually happens as time goes by. In science, series of experiments need to be conducted to formulate a theory that could be imprinted in books and scrutinized by the public. Thus, series of experiences need to happen to develop a solid understanding of a vague conception. Let me share my own experiences that equipped me to develop my comprehension about destiny.

I had previous failed relationships before I met my husband. Every relationship that I have, I wish it to be the destiny, the so called fate from most people. Most people said that destiny is something that happens in your lives unexpectedly and sometimes unwelcome but it is meant to happen regardless of any circumstances. Yet, everything that happens to my life, I always have rooms for decision. I can decide when to stay and hold on and when to let go.

“I met Nico (a Korean) way back in the year 2006 through Marilou (my friend since college), who happened to be his personal tutor for English. After several meetings, he courted me to be his girlfriend. My flight to UAE will be due for few months when he courted me. I did not agree to build a relationship with him since I hate the thought of having a long distance relationship. Despite my decision, Nico wanted to remain a good friend and still we went out together exploring the beauty of Cebu and enjoying life. As time goes by, I eventually fallen in love with him. It never entered into my mind to have a relationship with a foreigner; I hate adjusting with other cultures; yet, I decided to give it a try. It is hard to fathom that I found real happiness and comfort with the person that has different cultures and beliefs than with the people of my own. I pursued with my going abroad in Dubai and face the fear of the things that I expected to happen. I experienced loneliness and hardships abroad but I hold on to our relationship. I decided to keep our relationship despite the distance, though there were guys near me who were willing to make me happy and give the affection that I needed in a foreign country. After a year in abroad, I came back to Philippines and get married with Nico my love.”

My story happened because of pure decisions and not by fate. I was able to control the circumstances by deciding not to entertain guys who are showing affections with all the intentions of having a relationship with me. I decided to be faithful and loyal to the one I love. Now I can say, that destiny is what we make it. Don't say "come what may, destiny will unfold by itself". Destiny is your choice and nothing else. So, shape well your destiny because your happiness is at stake.
